Croprix builds greenhouse robots and whole-greenhouse management. Its work runs along two lines. Model-driven environmental control coordinates lighting, temperature, humidity, fertigation and gas management around crop growth and shared production goals. Model-driven robot scheduling coordinates zones, task priorities, time windows and robot assignments around the production plan, so that work in the greenhouse follows one schedule and the results of each task feed the next plan.

Between the crop rows, Croprix robots take on the daily tasks of the greenhouse: pollination by pulsed airflow, inspection that collects crop and environmental observations for grower teams, harvesting designed for truss tomato recognition and placement, transport of crates, materials and tools along aisles and pipe rails, crop protection by spraying along the rows, deleafing and routine crop care, and lowering for high-wire cultivation. Environmental observations and task records return to management to inform subsequent production plans.

The team brings together people from China Agricultural University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China University of Geosciences, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences and other institutions, combining agricultural research with engineering practice. It stays involved from equipment assembly and installation to commissioning and day-to-day technical support. Feedback from the greenhouse helps identify issues, improve equipment and inform further development.
